To achieve
the inspirational and emotional paintings of Heartdrawn
Images, watercolors are used in a method that allows the colors
to free-flow through deep puddles of water. This permits the paint
to follow its own uncontrolled path of flowing and blending, sometimes
keeping to its own path and sometimes blending with other colors
in a surprise of spontaneous creation and hue. Within the free-flow
of color a story is created about the subject with control and
purpose. Nature and the emotions of the human spirit are the subjects
of Heartdrawn Images artwork. It
is this combination of free-flowing spontaneity and planned control
that is symbolic of the events in life that is portrayed. Accompanying
each painting is a story of explanation, relating the feelings
within the art to the events of the human spirit. It is also the
mating of prose with the aesthetic imagery that creates the embrace
of emotional inspiration and sentiment with the visual art. |
